Students with a B.Sc. in Textile Science and Technology are expected to be capable both theoretical and practical aspects of textile fields, including the capability of effectively applying the knowledge and experience in their field to many related professions. They are also able to pursue their studies for higher level in either textile or related fields. Three major areas of study are offered in this department, namely, Textile Architecture, Textile Chemistry, and Textile Technology. Students from other departments can have an opportunity to take courses in textile fields as minor options or electives for boarding professions. The scope of work includes quality control, conducting research, being designers, marketing planner, etc.
